Cathance River Trail

We have been (blessed) with a great snow fall this year. My wife and I have been able to get out and enjoy some excellent cross country skiing as a result.

On Friday, last week,  we both took the day off and ski'ed a few trails along the Cathance river in Topsham. It was an awesome day with temps nearing 50 degrees.

The trails were very nice although they were really more suited for snow shoes that for skis. Some of the twists and turns heading down hill toward the river were very challenging on skis.

There are some very nice views and great maps along the trail to keep you on track. Down by the river are several nice photo opportunities and a couple of benches for taking a break.
